In May of 2022, EGRMC was designated a Level II Emergency Cardiac Care Center (ECCC). EGRMC’s presence has led to a high number of doctors' offices, imaging centers & other specialty practices in Statesboro. Memorial Health, the only Level 1 Trauma Center in southeast GA, is less than 60 miles away in Savannah, along with many other niche specialists & doctors.
